The origin of Girl Talk
One of my most definitive attributes, whether Iād like to admit it or not, is the fact that I talk, a lot. I write a lot. I think a lot. I have my way with words. Sometimes frivolous, sometimes profound, but always important and necessary to my navigation of life. The phrase āGirl Talkā has many connotations. One is that the subjects of these conversations hold no weight, importance, or value. Iād like to believe otherwise. My blog, āGirl Talkā is a space for my personal exploration and navigation of young adulthood as a woman, and the conversations that arise between me and the women in my life, in hopes to help other young girls find their voice, and understand that what they say holds weight. That conversations about self discovery, relationships, mental health, politics, culture, art, and fashion, are important to be viewed through the lens of young womanhood, and that āGirl Talkā deserves to take up space.

Napkin Notes
āNapkin Notesā is a space for my poetry and prose. For first drafts and incomplete thoughts, inspiration found in cafes, on drives, and at train stations. Often scribbled down on napkins, or palms, or in my notes app. This space will hopefully create a clearer vision for my writing, and allow for me to revise what I feel needs it, but also realize that there are some good bits in there too. If any inspiration or comfort is found in these pieces, know that you and I are one in the same, for these are my rawest bits.
