What To Do in a Post-Roe America

By no means was I expecting to be making this post this week. I don't think any of us were expecting it, or prepared for this.

This post is not being made to debate a person’s right to choose, nor do I believe that I have a perfect understanding of this subject and the legal complexities of the overturn of Roe v. Wade,

but I do believe that what I can do is share the resources that I have collected to educate myself, and things we must do now that we are living in a Post-Roe America.

Below will be links to websites that I have found useful in understanding the complexities of this event, as well as links to trusted spaces to donate, volunteer, and protest for a safer future for all of us.

Together, as neighbors, as family, as friends, we must continue the fight for a safer America for everyone. We must allow people to choose for themselves what will be done with their bodies.

This fight isn’t against our neighbors, it isn't against each other. It is against the political and economic systems exploiting the working class to gain greater control over all of us.

Wealthy white Americans have, and always will have access to safe, legal abortions.

But the working class, people of color, people living in poverty, have faced horrendous obstacles when trying to access this medical procedure.

We must fight for them, we must fight for us. We refuse to let our bodies become chess pieces in these politicians games.

The fight isn’t over, it is just beginning.

Our bodies, our choice.

We won't go back.
